    You still have to pay a significant shipping cost, which eats up most of, if not all of the discount. Sweetwater ships for free. And, if you have a rep, you may get a discount there.

    I have iLok and so far no problems.  But, from the big thread on the gearslutz forum about problems with the new iLok License Manager (people getting locked out of their applications) and the problems I had with a defective one I won't be buying any additional software that uses iLok.

    I also read about all those problems so did not update the ilok manager until a few weeks or so ago - but it all works fine now and the new version of the manager software is a great improvement on the old versions - in fact it is very good now and very convenient

    I also hope iLok will eventually become a thing of the past but in the meantime & if you need one or looking for a spare this is a good deal.

    Cheapest shipping was Priority Mail @7.95....still too much...You're right br....
    that's kind of a deal breaker...

    Me too...and sometimes, if you go to a local retailer, like Guitar Center, they'll match the price
    AND you get instant gratification.  Never hurts to ask...
