It's all there; the mix, the performances, the pathos in the voice.  This could be played on any country radio station in the world, and it would fit right in.  Fine work.

FABULOUS Recording! I wish I could get something to sound like this. I'm less of a fan of Dave's vocal styling. It's not that he's bad, in fact he's very well suited for the genere. Just something about the presentation IMO detracted from the otherwise excellence of the track. Also, something about the lead guitar tone didn't blow my skirt up, but the performance was spot on.

Loved the backup vocals, and the song overall, production, engineering, performances, etc. Really really professional IMO. Congratulations.

Love the vocals. He reminds me of Trace Adkins a bit.... not as polished but still really nice. Nice production chops.

Thanks Robby, I'm really proud of the song/production, but it's not really my favorite vocal performance either... I think it's almost too low a key for Dave's voice...  Thanks for listening...

I really love this ! Great recording and some really heart felt playing!   I think this song really is in Dave's range. His voice just has a little different tonality.  Great work !!!

Mix sounds good here. I think I used to annoy you a lot as I would always harp on the bass, but it seems to me with the latests songs I have heard from you that you have gotten that sorted. Well done.

Yeah... I bought a new truck... now, if the bass mix is boomey, I'll hear it on the truck sound system... it turns out you were right all along... some of my previous material did have low-end issues that I was not hearing in the studio...  Thanks Shad...

excellent all round song, production, mix etc.
The guitar solo could be dropped back in the mix a tad for me (but I'm nitpicking) but very nice

Hi Frank, I love everything about this song.  Lyrics and vocals is so great.  The production is spot on.  It sounds so smooth and natural in my phones.  It's too early to turn it up on my speakers but I will.

I like the song and the performance.  The vocal seems about a 1/2 step below the ideal key for the voice.  That the story of my life, ideal keys are always the key of something flat, although it's helped me over the years to be fluent in any key on the guitar

    Nice guitar work too.

Nice one Frank. Who's on steel. Love me some steel, anytime, anywhere....
I might consider saying this is the best natnot mix I've heard. That would probably be presumptive in that I can't remember all the little details of everything,,, ya know. It's a nice one for sure.

I like Dave's voice. Kinda grows on you.

Killer production Frank, that intro drew me right in. If I had to have a minor nit or two, I'd knock back the lead guitar just a hair, same with the vocals on the first verse - otherwise it's impeccable.

Very awesome Frank.  As a nitpick I might roll off a tad of low end from the guitars.  Just a bit of bloom there, but you'd have to really be looking for it.

    Hey, Frank,

Another fantastic project! To me, this seems to be a really nice, comfortable fusion of traditional country done with modern country production technique.

Great performances and a dynamite mix, although, I think I might agree with James about maybe bringing the lead vocal and guitar solo down just a touch, although that's really just a minor nitpick and may be a genre specific choice.

Excellent work, Frank, I can easily imagine hearing this on one of our local country radio stations, and I'm certain the pro quality of the mix would fit right in with the major label rotations.

Have a great weekend, my friend!

    Hi Frank,

Outstanding traditional, yet modern sounding country tune.

    Love the steel.  Great production/mix.
