I'm in love with the "rustic" desk. Was that a custom ordered 4'2"x2'4" table top?

mike_mccue Is that the standard custom size? It's symmetrical (well the numbers are).

"It's symmetrical (well the numbers are)." Wouldn't something fractalcal sound better? I'm thinking of buying a big LCD screen and in-setting it down into the surface of what ever desk I end up with so that it doesn't mess with the sound too much. best, mike

That seems environmentally irresponsible to me.

If you use a blow torch to cut the hole there are very few scraps.

mike_mccue ya... I'm still learning. This was one of those gigs where I explained to the band that I have Pro Tools Native running but that I prefer to work in SONAR. At some point during the mix when I was doing some comping and effects patching, one of the guys exclaimed something like "Wow, I see what you mean; you can't work this fast in the other DAW". 3 days tracking at 64 sample buffer and 2 days mixing at 512 sample buffer without a single glitch. Good times. best regards, mike And I'm safe in assuming this miracle happened using 8.5, yes?
Regards, John I want to make it clear that I am an Eedjit. I have no direct, or indirect, knowledge of business, the music industry, forum threads or the meaning of life. I know about amps. WIN 10 Pro X64, I7-3770k 16 gigs, ASUS Z77 pro, AMD 7950 3 gig, Steinberg UR44, A-Pro 500, Sonar Platinum, KRK Rokit 6
