I'm bored...

waiting for my family to return so I thought I'd show a couple of things I'm proud of but
really glad they're done LOL.

I finally built a table to put the Marshall fridge on. I decided it would be good if it held wood too. Those are body blanks. Some are for
neck-thru and there are full blanks- Alder and Ash.

The guy I'm building this Tele style for wanted a Strat neck with vintage tuners. The deal is I've had to purchase special bits
and tools. The holes are two different sizes. One is sized for the machine post and the other is sized for the bushing. I also purchased
a tool to compress the bushing. Needless to say but if all of this isn't done perfectly it will only lead to problems. So far...all's good.

The fridge came with a little bitty ice tray...and there is ice in it today! LOL

I thunk your computer didn't wurk... is this frum your fone?

Maybe you aren't bored... I think you are board.

(Get yourself a Studiocat... life is short, treat yourself well).

BTW... I really like that Fridge, you do good work. Wood working is a wonderful thing. I used to work in a mill room and it is my favorite job I ever had (working from someone else). I did split my thumb right up the middle on a tablesaw but the Dr. put it back together.. that was 1979 IIRC. The saw stopped whistling and I got careless. I went to spray some silicon on the stop and my thumb hit the still turning blade. The can flew straight up into the air and I wrapped my index finger around my thumb to hold it together... until I got t the hospital where they tortured me, lol. I still would love to do wood working but don't have a space for it.
You really do beautiful work... isn't wood wonderful?

There are to many computers in my home J. I'm using an Alienware 18" laptop right now.
I guess the ones afraid of the trash can work. lol.

I know about the torture...they rebuilt my left thumb.
Thanks for the kudos. I enjoy working wood. It is dangerous but living is.

Getting wood is tuff for me. No hardwood dealers close by so everything is shipped in. It is very exciting
though to unwrap a package and see that piece of wood that may become a guitar. It is wonderful and
    thank you for the kudos.

The pay-off is when I get to do the set-up. That's when I know everything. That's when I take
notes because that is when the truth is told.

On a side note; I got an email from Mark Wessels. He is doing great. Some may remember that he
was dealing with back problems but sounds like he is doing great. I had the great pleasure of working
with him. If you'd like to hear- he did the guitar work on "Take Me Back" (at Mixposure link) I mixed and did
the synth sounding backing guitar. I hope if I get the recording thing worked out I can work with him again.
