I'm expecting something completely ridiculous

I'm expecting something completely ridiculous, like maybe a witty post from "Straummy", "tThe bBapu" or maybe jb101superstar.

If I have to tell the jokes around here we are going to have to get someone to hold up a sign that says "laugh" every time I deliver the punch line.

Just saying.

Sorry Mike, it's time for bed over here in GMT-land.

Mind you, tomorrow (presuming I haven't been banned ), I'll post some (hopefully) interesting macro shots I took this afternoon.

Inspired by all the 'fake watch' spam that's infested this place today, I decided to screw the back off my real Omega and snap a few images of the clockwork. Fortunately, I haven't wound it up for a few days so the movement was er...... not moving!

I'm trying to think up a witty thread title, both belittling the purveyors of their shoddy fake goods, and at the same time not attracting the attention of a Cakewalk mod (fat f****** chance) who might mistake my witticism for spam.

I'll kip on it.

But before I ascend the wooden hill...

I got talking to a girl in a chatroom last night.

She even sent me a photo of herself.

She looked a bit of a porker, but underneath she'd embarrassingly typed, "It's well known that the camera adds 10lbs."

I helpfully explained to her that she should feckin' well stop eating cameras then.

I'm steering clear of that twat for the time being.

I've discovered that he is, in fact, an older boy.

And we all know how that ends up.

Maybe if you offered us free drinks it would help?

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

CRAIG B (if that is your real licence plate), you Americans have a funny way of spelling "Laugh".

I knew that, but I didn't have a "Laugh" sign.
