I'm getting a new Harpsichord - IT'S REALLY GREAT!!
It's not just any Harpsichord? It's a really cool one! I can't wait to tell you all much much much more about it!!! The color? The sound of it? I may change my mind on the model and options? Oh!! IF I DO!! I'LL BE SURE TO FILL YOU IN ON EVERY FRICKEN DETAIL ABOUT MY PURCHASE!!

It's going to be brown? With highlights of light brown, and others of dark brown? It's an awesome Harpsichord... At first I was going to get an entry level model? But then I decided to spring for an intermediate model!! WHO'S WITH ME!!??

I'm trying to choose between a mass produced harpsichord, or one that is custom built? I'm still learning to play, but I want to make a commitment to the instrument?

IT IS A SONGS FORUM! But if we're free to post about our new instruments? Or our hobbies (outside of music) or recipes? Then no one's music gets heard.. I can complain about it? But it's much more effective to actually illustrate what a bunch of BS it is.

And I still can't decide between the entry level "plucker?" or advanced "mother plucker" models? (I'm sorry for that right there Lord...) And I hope this bothers people? I really hope it does? I hope it doesn't result in suspension? But I hope it makes people think? "IT'S A SONGS FORUM PEOPLE!" So "it should be about a song?" And preferably one you are playing/singing on? Otherwise? It dissolves in to crap "like this..."

I have "intentionally" not looked at others responses? And anyone who puts up a post about "their new harpsichord?" Is not really interested in anything anyone else has to say? But is more accurately a narcissist? (as are we all? To some degree or another) But more importantly, one who is incapable of being ignored even when they have no music to post? But only either someone on youtube who they find interesting? Or some update on some instrument they might be purchasing? What is important is the poster, and their activity? Not what you think about it? Only that you think about it... Again, please note? I am illustrating absurdity by being absurd? I am not buying a harpsichord? Nor do I have any interest in doing so? There is a guy? Bayoubill? He is awesome... He is an excellent guitar player? Really talented? Really good... He had a thread where he talked about his new guitar? BUT HE'S A GUITAR PLAYER! AND HE'S REALLY GOOD! AND HIS GUITAR WAS FREAKING SPECIAL ORDERED/HAND MADE!!?? We can accept that? We appreciate and enjoy that? And we look for posts including his new special hand made guitar? He posted examples of his music? It was "quite excellent..." His guitar was special? "his guitar playing?" Is quite excellent? "No one?" Looks for posts regarding my harpsichord? No one! Read, "you must be selective when posting about something which is not your song!!!???" I'm sorry for that right there Lord... I apologize. And "I'm sorry!? I'll leave this be... It just ....es me off... I'm sure that wasn't obvious? So I just wanted to say, "it bothers me." There is so much great music on this forum from so many great contributors? And so many who either post BS? Or post links for mass advertisement/SPAM for their social networking? It's very difficult for the serious artists here sometimes to get herd? And I'm NOT talking about me! I am talking about people in general? There are many here who I really enjoy and respect... I'll try not to go on this rant again for at least 8 weeks.
