I'm impressed with the turn around time for the Quick Fixes

Thank you Cakewalk for all the hard work and dedication put into replying (quickly) to the bug issues. Comparing to how things were done in the past, the new approach of addressing issues immediately instills a lot of confidence in my DAW and the company that stands behind it.
Looking at all the issues that X1b had comapred just to the very few in 246, it's really nice to see X1's improvement status moving forward.

Now all we need is some new skins and you can call it a complete makeover!!
Keep up the good work and thanks for listening and reponding to the issues.

1 happy X1 user!!

Yeah, I think the new QuickFix program is very cool. There's no way to totally bug-proof any piece of software, but it's nice to see things moving ahead smoothly now.

The forum is a much more pleasant place.

I do like the faster/more responsive turn around. But I do wish they were a tiny bit more diligent in checking into issues when they fix them. When they fixed the broken note duration tools HUD for the staff view, they somehow didn't fix keybindings along with it. When they "fixed" the double-prochannel on frozen tracks issue, they somehow screwed up all sorts of aspects of freezing tracks and effects bins (not to mention the "fix" of disabling prochannel completely on frozen tracks is a step backwards).

it seems like if they don't go through their full "major release" QA/regression testing, then they barely do any due diligence testing at all. I think there might be some room for a middle ground.

Y'know, I just installed the quickfix today, my first one, so I got all the rollup fixes. X1 is so far behaving very agile and stable, I'm a happy camper!
