I'm probably doing something wrong

In track view, the Now time will snap to whatever I've got set in Snap - 1/4, whole etc

In PRV view, I can seemingly click anywhere in the top and the Now Time won't snap anywhere, it seems to be completely "free" for want of a better word.

So, come on, tell me I'm missing a setting somewhere

    1. Do you have the snap in the PRV on? It's the left-most icon in the top right of the PRV

    2. PRV seems to let you set the now time to whatever you want in the ruler, the Snap seems to only effect where notes are drawn and snapped to.

    Thanks for replying.

    Yeah, SNAP is definitely on.

This is a pain for me - I often want to go to an exact measure

    Ah well. There are workarounds

I hear what you're saying, I'm just not sure if what you're expecting is how it's supposed to work or not. But if you think it's a bug, report it to Cakewalk.

I can reproduce this when global snap is turned off!!!

If you turn Global snap off by pressing the square snap Icon then snap is turned off everywhere.

However if you click on the snap value (note/time/sample) icon and turn snap off, snap still appears to be active in the PRV when actually it is off!!!.  I found if I changed the snap value in the PRV, then it turns global snap on again and the snap works as expected.

Hope that helps in some way?
