My ex-wife's mother (ex-mother-in-law?) had mind like a sewer. She was a fashion designer in the garment industry for years.

Hi, I'm so ticked off at Amazon right now ... they will not accept my credit card for any purchase that is from Europe! How's that for "global economy"? I'm thinking of starting to send you some money in money orders to have you get me a few things ... can't even get Nick Mason's book! How's that for crap!
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Moshkito can't even get Nick Mason's book!
'Pigs Might Fly' by Mark Blake is a much better insight into PF in my opinion.

Just finished that one and I wanted to do a double review together ... I am working on the massive book by Archie Patterson (Eurock), which is actually a compilation of all his issues of his periodical in the 70's, 80's and 90's. The reviews of some of the stuff are ... weak for my tastes ... but they help identify the music really well ... with medium tempo, fast tempo, guitar flourish gives away to the banana, gives away to the bass and then gives away to the keyboards ... sometimes those kind of reviews don't say a whole lot, but it was certainly better than some moron out there saying that Tangerine Dream sounded like "washing machine music", which means that guy was so ripped, he could not even tell the difference! Read Bill Bruford's book in between and while a nice personal account of the ups and downs of the whole thing, there is a side of it that is a bit sad ... but all in all, a nice book. Very valuable for anyone that thinks they are going to learn drumming in their life, and if you have a teen son doing just that, make sure he reads this inside out. It will probably help him/her stay together in one lump! It's nice, even if it is not juicy on the fun side of things at all ... it sticks strictly with the music itself and his relationship to it. Period! And he appreciates the folks he has played with and says some nice things about many of them.
