Immanuel - Merry Christmas!

I did this a couple of years ago but remixed it significantly today... Trying to get better at that?

It's at the top at;

www.reverbnation.com/rockinrobby

I know I know, a lot of people hate this site; sooooo. I am now also uploading it to my new Soundcloud account! :-)

I'll post that link in a bit.

There's a pretty good sized Orchestra at work here (which I love.) It's EWQL Gold, and I think I'm playing some Ivory on this, and my guitar, and singing.

What's neat about this (IMO) is my production, and arrangement which I believe is somewhat unique.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Sittin downtown in a railway station one toke over the line.

**** me gently, I was almost sick when this song started. I have never heard such a perfect opening note in my life. This is a work of art Robby. My god this is wonderful.

Ok not into god botherer christmas music-Bah Humbug but as the rest of guys have noted-an excellent vocal.  It had moments of celtic glory.  The rest of the sounds are nice too.

I just keep hitting rewind and play. Robby if there is every any doubt about your voice, this will put that to rest completely. The mix is the best I have heard from you. I would buy this. I would look forward to hearing this on the radio at Christmas, like I look forward to Bowie and Crosby's "Little Drummer Boy/Peace on earth", or Bela Lugosi's "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch".

great job, Robbie. love the change-up in verse 2...you really bring up the folk roots of this piece at times, whilst using the orchestra nicely for some dramatisation!

Love the tune.  Good choice.  I'm contemplating another Christmas CD, although this time I wont do the whole thing in single year.

Nice production, and the arrangement is complex and well done.  Cool work, and as I said the arrangement is very cool.

This has all the options to be a really good tune but it seems that you hold it back for some reasons - now its ok - but with some more strains it will be a very good song.

In a time which should be reserved for love and sharing, we must endure a national tragedy (in the US)

I don't pray as much as I should... But I did pray for those families. I thank all who have commented on this song. And the only words I can offer is that people have differences? We all understand this. But beyond that, there is good "and evil..." While we all love and celibate the good?

We need to bear in mind that the evil does exist, and will. Do what you can to spread good, and stand against evil.

Love those who are close to you while you can.

    Peace.
