[Implemented] Help/About Sonar - include "town" in the version info
Any chance we can get the town name included in the Version: on the Help/About Sonar popup? That way we can check which town-version we're currently on. edit: implemented starting with Foxboro - sc

Everett is 21.4, I think - you are not on latest. Looks like Cambridge then. Not a bad idea though since names are used more often than version nowadays. Both in about box and CCC. .

All the more reason, since I thought I d/l'd all the pertinent files, skipping the the ones I already have. Opening up Drum Replacer, I get the notif that I don't have the most current version of Sonar. So now I have to hook the DAW back up to download again.

There really does need to be a mapping somewhere with 12 versions (+ interims) per year now

+1 - a version name to build number mapping could go a long way to simplify things.

But isn't the minor version doing the job forming a first letter to the release. 21.0 was it Allston or something 21.1 braintree 21.2 cambridge 21.3 dorchester 21.4 everett So an F-something name would be 21.5 A+minor version give first letter of release name. Helpfiles only have version numbers too. But since big announcements are made with the names - this suggestions is valid, I think, especially in CCC. And alphabet should last two years.

Yep, I agree it would be cool just to have the name in the About. Quickest way to know you've upgraded successfully.

Of course. Why didn't I think of that? And why didn't all the people involved think of that? If it the EVEREST version, it should be identified as such.

As usual, the idiotic forum software interfered with my attempt to add a 5 star, and only got a 3.
