Import Question???

Hey all,
I was wondering if it is possible to import more than one track at a time. I have been doing some session work out of my house (Sonar 4.02, Pod XT) and the songwriter has been sending me cd's of the wav. files for the tunes. Can I import all of the tracks into sonar at once, or do I have to import each track separately into a new audio track? It's kind of a pain in the ass to import each track (I have 12-15 tracks per song).

    Not totally sure about this... But I think you can use the windows explorer to see the tracks on the CD, then highlight the ones you want and drag them into Sonar.

    Yes you can. Hold down the Ctrl key then highlight each track you want to import. Press import and Sonar will continue to import each file into their own tracks.

    If they're .wav files, you can highlight all the files you need to import and Sonar will automatically assign each wav to a new audio track.

    However, if they're audio cd's, Sonar doesn't read .cda files. You will have to rip the cd to a temporary directory and reference off that, or rip directly to a project folder.

    I just use the Wavelab Lite that came with my Emu. But I found some free ones here, and here here; and loads more by just googling. I wish Sonar had the ability to rip cds directly...

    Doesn't that rip directly to .wma and not wav?
