Good luck in the contest....I hope one of us wins it. :)

I wrote a guitar solo in PRV, intending to play it on a real guitar later.  Unfortunately my playing chops were not up to standard and I couldn't play much of it convincingly.  It's too near to the deadline to try anything different, so I have submitted my midi-based solo instead.  I hope that this qualifies.

I'd just keep that information to myself, Kev. After all, how is that any different from the cheaters who shred at half-speed?

OTOH, if they decide your solo puts their current guitarist to shame, they might hire you into the band and then you'd have to perform it live. That could be embarrassing.
