Importing Multiple Audio Tracks At Once

When I've tried to import more than one .wav file at a time (v8), all of the audio being imported ends up on one track instead of each .wav file porting to its own Sonar audio track. How does one do this properly? Thanks!

    Hum, it doesn't work like that for me. You can try looking in your global import setting menu to see if there is an option that needs to be checked.

    Thanks, CJ. What was happening was that a track was selected and that's where the audio files began to download. All is well now.

    What was happening was that a track was selected and that's where the audio files began to download.
    I have never experienced more than one imported clip ending up on the same track, even when something is selected.  The clips always import to different tracks, starting with the one you have selected.  If the selected track happen to be the last track, then new tracks will be automatically created for the remaining clips.
