Importing Project Template

Hi all,

Have scoured the net and cannot find an answer (although probably staring me in the face as these things usually do!)

I've just moved from dual monitor set up to a larger, single, widescreen monitor. As such, I have created myself a nice new shiny project template to use going forward. My problem lies in 4 existing projects I have on the go. 2 are easy enough as they are early days with a couple of sketchy ideas laid down which I can re-record. The other 2 however, are quite beastly projects, a lot of tracks, a lot of plugins, a lot of mixing already done. I don't fancy mixing them down, exporting as Waves and importing into a new project. Is there any way to click a button (OK, a couple of buttons) and load my new project template into an existing project? Thanks

No there has never been a way to overlay a template. But why can't you just manually put everything in view? If parts are missing and you can't pull them blindly you'll have to hook up a second monitor and set things right first.

    OK, thanks.

I could do that, but I have created 5 or 6 screen sets and I'm particularly lazy. Truth be told, I'm not even writing this, I'm dictating to the wife!! (I'm kidding obviously. Or am I!?)

They're all in view, looks like it's a manual job then!!
