Importing Stems for Comping

Hello Sonar Community,

I just upgraded to Sonar X3 and love it. I am currently working on a project that would love to use the comping feature. I have 7 stems that I would like to import to Sonar X3 as takes to use the comping feature. How do I do that? Sorry in advance if this is a totally duh! question.

Thanks

If you import the stems into the same track (one at a time), the stems will go into take lanes in the track. If you import the stems all at once, you can create lanes in a track and drag them from the track they imported into to the new take lane. There may be a faster way but you are in the wrong forum for X series questions. The X series experts are in the X series forum above this one.

Cool, I think that is it!
Thanks for the response, I'll try that to see if it works.

You can also just drag-n-drop from Windows Explorer onto the tracks region of the Sonar window. If you start by dragging just one file to create the track and then you should be ablet o multi-select the rest and drag them onto the same track to set up the rest of the take lanes.
