Importing a 6-ch WAVE file into SONAR???

I'm trying to import a recording that happens to be a 6-channel audio file.
 
The file plays/sounds fine when played using Windows Media Player but in SONAR it doesn't.
 
SONAR splits up the track into 6 individual mono tracks and the resulting sound when played back is similar to what you would hear when playing back an audio file at a higher/lower sample rate.
 
Anyone knows the proper proceedure or work-around when importing multi-channel audio?

Which version of SONAR are you running? This should be working in Manchester...
