Seems to be a lot of background noise to me as though there tracks had been lifted from vinyl.

    Mix wise sounds quite competent.

Thanks. Just posted a new version.  Can't get the noise out of the All-In-One PC.  I will try making a new audio from another PC

Movie Sound track material for me.  I like it most at 1:30.  The long intro is good, but I like to eat my pudding right away, that intro could be eliminated.

Very nice piano, and the vocals are good.  She sounds beautiful.  Why wait 1:30 to reveal her?

The attack on the stings in the parts where she isn't singing is off a bit, 0 to 1:39, 4:40 to 5:--,   it finishes nice.  You are lucky to have a female vocalist.  Make her the star.  Of course, it all depends on what this is all for.  Why that crazy dissonant note at 8:01?  Remember, I don't know what I'm talking about

thanks for the comments!  This piece has unusual flow for several reasons- the vocal track comes from a pop song style I got 9 years ago, and I wrote a lot of music for it, and I had lots of this and that to try and incorporate.

The string intro was written with her vocal in mind but didn't fit her melody but was too nice to give up.  There are many musical ideas I wrote for the vocal track and wanted to use ( I made two other remixes), but the vocal track is very short (from a 3min song).  I didn't want to repeat the vocal track over and over, but try and use it enough to keep it fresh.  That's why her vocal is not heard in all places, and have instrumental sections.  This arrangement is kinda experimental, my other two remixes are standard song form, and vocal track is featured all the way.

I'll probably take out the dissonant note.  Something extra was needed there and it doesn't jolt me, but still maybe a bit too jolting.

I removed the dissonant note near the end.

Overall I think you did a great job!   I like the way the piano and orchestra "envelopes" the vocals without stepping all over them.  I do agree with the comments above that the intro is a bit long... I picture it with something much shorter before the piano is introduced.   FWIW, the parts in between and after the vocals didn't seem that way at all, possibly because they're more fully orchestrated and alternating with those vocals.   Either way, nice piece.
