That was simply an excellent monkey song, most definitely primate approved. 
 
I don't think there's much (if anything) you could do to improve it.

Absoflippinlutely brilliant!!!  What a great sentiment to this song and what a performance/production.  Melodically this number gave me a hint of an often maligned composer that produced some terrific songs.  To me this has a hint of a McCartney song.  Please take that as a big 'ol complement!!!
 
I have often heard about Bapu's bottom on this forum but have never heard it quite in this way.  Excellent playing!

Lots of strengths, guys! Vocals are I think perfectly mixed, just a touch of bgv!
 
I'd bring the kids in earlier somehow, they are great! Unless that's Bapu melodyned into a chipmunk.
 
The thing that caught my ear the most, though, was the drums. Your snare sounds kind of like a tom, but whatever you did with the drums, they sound like real drums in a real room. Very very good!

I agree the kids should come in earlier.  Also, the cha-ching riff for the guitar might sound better with some voice leading instead of the typical block chords on the high strings.  You guys definitely have a good style.  :D:D:D

I haven't been able to hang out here, lately, but I'm glad I dropped in for this song.  This is one of my favorites from the FM.  You guys keep raising the bar.  Songwriting, vocals, production are spot on.  You're a tough act to follow.

Apart from the very nice bottom end, Daryl is an excellent songwriter (musician/lyricist) and this tune is a great example of that!! (The other monkey's in here were just supporting cast that complimented this fine work).
