"Incognito" Original Instrumental
https://soundcloud.com/clintmartin/incognitoFirst mix. Your opinions would be appreciated as always. New toys Addictive drums and the Pro-channel tape sim were used throughout this project. Thanks!

Groovey. Addictive sounds good and works well. Certainly not getting in the way. Nice cymbal wash. Nice picking. Can't tell about the tape sim, but the production sounds clean and open. @

8:30 AM here in Amsterdam, I'm just having my 2'nd coffee and the first rays of sunshine are entering my home studio. I't looks like it's gonna be a good day. I've got a little time on my hands, so why not poking around in sonar's song forum a bit before I start my daily tasks. Hey! a clintmartin original!!! I click on the link and instantly this smooth guitar lick opens a super cool and relaxed groove carrying a very catchy theme. Yeah, this sounds good. Perfect tune to start my day. Not to busy but yet interesting enough to make me hang on. I lean back, thinking I'm going to enjoy this for a while... ...But what's that!!!??? Oh, no!!! All of sudden, out of the blue and totally unexpected: The music stops... ...to be continued...?

Hey Clint I really enjoyed this piece. Loved your choice of tones and your performance was just EXCELLENT. This really had a nice blend of modern meets classic vibe. The intro guitar reminded me a bit of John Mayer and the jazz tones had a Wes Montgomery flair. The mix sounds great on my end and nice work on the percussion. GREAT JOB! Kev

@drumstixkev...Thanks a lot! I think we all think of Wes Montgomery when we here octaves. It's such a signature of his. I would have to say Eric Johnson would probably be the ispiration although not on purpose. I'm just a huge fan of his. Thanks for listening.

Thanks man! Have you got X3 and Gobbler? I've got some more stuff I'll be working on if you want to play drums, I think that would be fun. I don't have the room, mics or talent to record drums as they should be.
