Inconsistency in selecting an active take (Braintree) (possibly solved)
I'm not sure if this is a glitch or something I'm doing wrong, but I didn't notice this before yesterday's update. If this post isn't clear enough, I'll try to post a screen grab of what's going on.
In my case, I'm using midi. If I try to highlight an active take (usually I click on the darker bar directly above the clip in question) it actually selects an inactive take.
For example:
I have a midi clip that I want to edit or delete, so I try to select it by left clicking on the darker grey colored bar on top of the clip, and it will automatically select an inactive take associated with that clip's position in the project. The workaround for this is to show the take lanes and select the clip I want there. But I don't think I had to do this before yesterday's update.
However:
There's an inconsistency with this. Sometimes, I'll be able to select the proper midi clip take I want to edit. Other times, I'm having the issue with it selecting an inactive take upon left clicking an active take.
EDIT: I think I see what's causing this. It seems to be certain clips where the inconsistency is happening. It seems to happen when there's a longer inactive take covering the project position of an active take. Example: An active take has a range of bars 17 through 25, but there's an inactive take that goes from bars 12 through 25 or longer.
