I just read some reviews about SS Symphony and don't know why I didn't pick this up at release.  I have a bunch of stuff from Indiginus and like the rest, this looks like a very useful tool to have.

What are your thoughts on this and in what creative ways do you guys use this?

LOVE SSS! It's a great composition tool when you want to jam away to work up ideas. It also layers well with real-strings libraries.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Thought I already had this (natch) and was going to upgrade when I found out I don't. Sure sounds good though.

Well I just installed the update and I am blown away. Lots of things claim to be epic and "cinamatic" but a quick run through the presets show this is indeed epic!

Worth the entry fee several times over IMHO.

The update is tiny, I think its just new NKI files and scripts. But it really adds to the original, and of course you get to keep the origins NKIs too.

I've been eyeing Solid State Symphony for a while now, and this thread, as well as the demo video have pushed me over the edge to actually buy it. After playing with it for a few hours, I can only say WOW. It's incredibly fun to play.
Very well thought out software, bringing an abundance of immediate creative possibilities.

Only $59 . . . amazing value for what it can do. Okay, I'm in Canada so it's more like $79 by the time I get the bill, still I think the value is top notch. Also, what I really like is that this is apparently an upgrade, so I like the idea that it's being developed and improved over time, unlike so much software I own that seems to run into a dead end eventually. The upgrade price is $10, unbelievable.

Cakewalk by Bandlab, Cubase, RME Babyface Pro, Intel i7 3770K @3.5Ghz, Asus P8Z77-VPro/Thunderbolt, 32GB DDR3 RAM, GeForce GTX 660 Ti, 250 GB OS SSD, 2TB HDD samples, Win 10 Pro 64 bit, backed up by Macrium Reflect, Novation Impulse 61 Midi Key Controller, Tannoy Active Near Field Monitors, Guitars by Vantage, Gibson, Yamaki and Ovation.

Yup...of course I thought I already had this and just had a sawbuck upgrade. But then, natch, I discovered I am still a dimwit as I do not have it. So now I have to consider it. Sounds good though.

Did the upgrade at least allow you to demo, yorolpal?

Oh I've listened and don't know why I didn't get it when first released. Am pretty sure I'll succumb in the coming hours or days...my weakness is strong;-)

This upgrade for $10 is definitely a no brainer!

Just get it - you'll love it!

The reason people say the vinyl sounds better is because the music was better.

I got the update after seeing this thread. I'm really impressed!   I really like the animated orchestra sounds.
As a bonus there's a section in the manual explaining the Snapshot feature in Kontakt 5 which I didn't know about.

Can't find the original files, too long ago. Ah well, it's still pretty inexpensive.
