Individual track equilization home studio

I'm one of those nubes..I have the Cakewalk home studio 6....i would like to have more control over bass treble mid's in each track like you have on a mixing board..so that i can adjust while listening to playback...right now only equilization i can find is the parametric equilizer..which is a little much..can anybody help with this ?

    If you have HS6XL, then you have per track eq. Go to console view and enable the eq button, you'll see the eq section at the top of the track strip.

    (if you don't have XL, and it's not a feature in plain HS6, my apologies..)

    To elaborate on what James said: in the console view (in default layout), at the lower left of the screen there is a series of icons, each of which toggles on/off its respective feature. EQ is one of those. Once you have turned on the EQ feature, you'll kind of have to play around with its functions and maybe read some about them to understand what they are and how they work.

    And that's only one of, what, three or four different ways to EQ with Sonar's onboard tools

    or you just add an eq to your tracks fx bins

    By all means, let's clutter up the FX bins of each track (meanwhile, increasing CPU demands)...

    Per-track eq is definitely a feature of HS6.
