Infinity Plus One - new album
Hi, I've previously posted a few tracks from an album I've been working on over the past 14 months and I just thought I'd let you know that you can listen to the album in its entirety online now. There are 2 places for you to listen... (1) On my website http://purplerhapsody.co.....html?release=infinity (the player is on the right of the page) (2) On SoundCloud http://snd.sc/A6bNJb My website has a track by track breakdown but unfortunately both of the sites have breaks in-between the tracks even though the first 30 minutes are supposed to run together as one large piece of music. The official release date for digital downloads is the 29th Feb if any of you are impressed enough with it Thanks to all of you for listening and commenting on the bits you've heard, you've helped to shape this album into it's final incarnation! Cheers, Terry.

HI Terry, nice job! Some parts seem just a bit out sync like the drums and lead guitar solos. Note, I can't find the player when using my IPad - the screen is a little jumbled on it. Rimshot

@Rimshot - I've just realised that the player is a Flash plugin, it's server by Reverbnation. Does the Soundcloud site cater for iPads? @Notnat - thanks for taking the time to listen so far.

I just listened to Infinity Part 1 and am really impressed. As a blues/rock guy I usually don't listen to this genre but I am actually on Part 2 right now and can't seem to turn it off. Nice! I was writing at the end of Part 1 and didn't notice a space between that and Part 2. I tried to run it to the end of 1 and see what kind of space was there but I can't make the player go to the end. It's all or nothing. Doesn't matter, this is some really nice music.

Well done, Terry. This is very majestic sounding. I thought that at one point in the first song that the percussion was not quite in time, but just in a brief section. Otherwise, very well orchestrated.

Impressive! I'm about half way through. This is some seriously ambitious stuff - but you pull it off my friend. Can't wait to get through the rest. Good luck with the release!

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to listen - I know a whole album of music isn't something you can just set aside the time for. @Warren - thanks! I'm glad that it kept you hooked for a while even though it's not your genre. @Lynn - thanks for the compliments. I think I've got an occasional problem where my live guitar playing is not quite good enough for the metronomic quality of quantized beats but hopefully it wasn't too distracting. The arrangement and orchestration of this album has been difficult - thanks for the compliment! @ProjectM - Glad you're of the impression that I manage to pull it off. As a musician working by himself all the time it's hard to tell for sure if things are actually working or not. As I mentioned above, the arrangement and orchestration of the tracks on the album were especially difficult (and ambitious). Perhaps I should make my next album a solo piano one so that I can take a rest from being so ambitious! Thanks again. Cheers, Terry.

I listened to the depths of infinity (track 1) It was not what I expected. I expected something more traditional, with more of a classical influence. This has a touch of electronica in the beginning. I can't really comment on the quality of the recording (notebook speakers) but I'm sure it's good. Very nice! The whole website/album thing? Congratulations.
All you need is love, just ask the Beatles? ----------

You are quite a talented writer. I enjoy the your use of dynamics and electronic voice. You have a nice touch on your phrasings. I am on the 3rd work (Blue Shift) and will continue listening. Regards, Lance
