    Looks like ProTools 11 will be my last.
     
    I really am not sure what Avid are thinking, so far I have seen little on the web from people that think this is a good move by Avid, nobody seems to be supporting it.
     
    oh well, I rarely use my ProTools 10/11 mostly with my Eleven effects Rack.
     
    Edit:  In looking at that chart - I have no clue what that those prices mean.  is it taken out of context?  7 years?  I am confused.

    I've been looking at upgrading my PT9 HD recently but I can't see the future. After PT12 it could be e end of owning HD without hardware.

    There is a lot of anger and angst over at the PT forums and I don't blame them. But I can't believe the volume of activity over there. It really is a huge user base.
