Info request for Dimension Pro String samples

I have searched forums and knowledge bases and I own the Cakewalk Synthesizers book, but have found no information on the samples used in Dimension Pro. I specifically want to know about the string samples in Dim Pro (NOT the Garrison Pocket strings but the samples in the browser program list in the "Strings" category). I wonder if anyone can answer any of the following questions:
From what orchestra are these samples taken? Are these chromatic samples? How many velocity layers are there? What is the sample bit rate?Is the note tail the actual hall ambience or is it synthetic?
I actually own the renowned and quite expensive EastWest/Quantum Leap Gold Orchestra library and, although it is excellent,  there are missing articulations: Dim Pro’s expressive strings are a very beautiful articulation, and one that the EWQLSO library lacks. Are my ears being fooled, or is the Dim Pro String Library a similar quality sampled instrument to East West?

I don't own the east west thing, BUT perhaps its partly the programming in the SFZ's and DP itself.. have you looked in there?

the samples are only half of the equation :)

Yes, those Dimension strings sounds are really excellent!  I believe they were licensed from Sonic Implants.  Take a look at the folder 15 - Strings inside your Multisamples folder to peek at them, the velocity layers vary between the programs.

I'd attribute the beautiful programs to talented programming from René + top notch sample sets + Dimension Pro's engine...

Thank you Chad and Fog for the tips.
It's interesting that the same sample can have different characteristics on a different sampler. I'm a bit of a preset man myself, and I seldom tweek anything other than attack and decay and eq.

I will look into it more.

    Have you seen?

There's a lot under the hood of Dimension to make sure those samples sound pristine.
