Insert bar

Hi

After some time I am nearly complete with my first whole project. The trouble is the intro (2 bars guitar) never sounded quite right, I then realized that I start 1/2 beat before the first bar and that 1/2 note gets dropped in the recording. So I can shift absolutely everything one bar forward, but I was wondering if there was an insert bar feature so that the shift would automatically happen as I insert the bar at the beginning. I cannot find any reference to a feature like this, or am I just looking to over simplify things?

...I was wondering if there was an insert bar feature...

Select Time/Measures on the Insert menu, set the amount (1 measure or whatever) and ensure that all the "Slide:" boxes are ticked.

Before you start, set the now time to start (or wherever you want to insert) and de-select all tracks.
