I say go for it bit....I'll even work on it with you so we can both go down in flames....no sense letting a brother go alone. LOL! Let's remove those guitars though and put in some modern ones. :)

LOL James!!!!! I don't know if I'd go that modern...hahahaha...I think maybe a more today sounding Eddie Van Halen type tone might work well in it. :) Then again....I just had to learn some Nickelback for my cover band and I got a tone really close to theirs fired up that I could try. Hahaha!

I'm pretty sure it's been recycled already... Even though I don't venture in bars too much these days, last time I did, almost half of what I heard was either a cover or a "remix". Then you had the original material, featuring borrowed/sampled lines from hits of the 70s and 80s.

Just how many rap versions of Every Breath You Take do we need again? Did they even know they were borrowing it from the Police or did they think the original was the one by Puff Daddy? I mean, they can't write, they can't sing, they can't play an instrument - what would they know about who they're stealing from, or music altogether, anyway... lol

Wish me luck. Tonight was the end of the run for this year in NYC and we're heading out to celebrate... I'm crossing my fingers so that I won't be hearing a rap version of Bohemian Rhapsody or the Swan Lake or whoever it is thought it was clever to sample Rocky's theme song and call that their song.
