Insincere people
You hate them, don't you? You really, really hate them, right? Tell the truth.
In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

I was sincerely going to post something here, but I really didn't mean it, so I didn't.

I'll fudge my true feelings to keep things running smoothly but that's because my true feelings are... well no one could sort that mess out. Nor should they have to. But I try. I really do.

I don't know about insincere but I was told by a lawyer that an answer I gave (at a deposition) was disingenuous. Think about that. A lawyer said I was disingenuous. A lawyer. True story.

I've only been called disingenuous once and it was by a weasel who was trying to rip off my old boss which I was having none of. I didn't know what the word meant. I thought he was calling me stupid... and apparently I was... if that's what the word actually meant.

I answered her question honestly. And..... there wasn't a dictionary handy for me to confirm what she meant by the use of the word. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

drewfx1 You hate them, don't you? You really, really hate them, right? Tell the truth. Nahhh ... I just put up a mirror in front of me, and each and every time ... they are only looking at themselves! It's more fun to watch their angry, stupid, paranoid and silly reactions ... when in fact it is just a petty something or other. Can't even get past the petty-ness to appreciate people for who they are! My asking for an assist is an example ... I write a lot, but am a totally visual person, and if I had been able to get what I needed off the internet I would have ... but the inteligenzia would rather write that I am stupid and silly! Again ... it has nothing to do with anything else ... except ... I don't like you! A nice Make up Kit would be a good Christmas present, you think?
As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!
