Instalation of X1 Producer Question

Hello,
I have both X1 Studio 32 and 64 on my computer right now.  I have just received my installation disks for the X1 Producer upgrade.  My question is this....should I uninstall Studio first and then install producer or the other way around?  Any cautions involved?
Thanks,

I would think you just install it on top. If it needs you to uninstall anything the installer will tell you that or ask if you want it to do it for you.

    No install instructions with it?

If you have room, I would just install it on top your others. I just upgraded from 8.5.3 Producer to X1 Producer, and it even scans everything for you(plugins), and projects, it was painless! Good luck!

Just to clarify, "install it on top" is not completely accurate. All SONAR versions (excluding patches and quickfixes) install "next to" existing versions. Each version gets its own folder in Program Files\Cakewalk, its own Appdata file, and its own registry branch. Plug-ins and other content are shared via the Shared* and other folders in the Cakewalk directory, but the basic application files and settings are completely independent, and nothing in the existing installation gets over-written with the exception of possible updates to some shared content that should be compatible with the earlier version.

Poor choice of words, my bad, just wanting him to know they can live together in harmony, pardon the pun.
