Install Question

HI All

Does X2 need to be installed over X1,or can X1 be deleted and then install X2?

That way X2 would be a clean install.

Thanks

Alan

you do not have to remove X1 and you can have X1 and X2 at the same time, and still use them. If you are not stuck for disk space I would leave X1 installed.

Thanks I think I would prefer to remove X1,but maybe after I have installed and run X2.

If there are no problems with X2,I don't see the point of keeping X1 and wasting disk space.

The point to wasting the space is that X2 could have some significant bugs for you. If you still have X1 you can continue to work if X2 flakes out.

    Understood,I won't delete X1 until X2 is working properly.

And if you remove X1 after installing X2 you could end up removing some critical elements that X2 needs, so if you insist on removing X1, do it before you install X2.
