Installation Paths

Hi guys, Sonar noob here. Just bought Platinum. I have a small(ish) solid state "C" drive and a big Serial ATA "D" drive. I want to install as much as possible to the "D" drive. I have tried to change the paths in the Command Center but I am unsure if this will screw things up or not. I have checked available docs and can see little or no reference to installation paths. Excuse me if I've missed something. Thanks for any help.

Have CCC download to D drive. You will be loading and then deleting large files on a monthly basis. Could potentially be bad for SSD.
INSTALL the program on the C drive. With the program installed go to Preferences/File/Folder Locations and change the Project File to D drive.
       Use Per-Project Audio folders.
If you plan on using a large sample library you may want another SSD for that.

Make sure you set up all "paths" in the CCC properly.

"Cakewalk Content" is not a huge folder, but it is something I like to keep off the C drive.

I used the symlink approach, and Sonar seems happy with it.
