Installed Sonar LE, then Studio X2 - still limited to 8 channels

Back in March, I installed the Sonar LE that came with my Allen and Heath Zed R16. After a short time, I decided to purchase and download Studio X2.
In the meantime, I had done a small project that required no more than 5 channels. I am now embarking on a much larger project and need the full capabilities of my 16 channel mixer and Studio, but when plugging in a microphone into any channel greater than 8, I get no signal going to Sonar (on 9-16).
Could there be some setting somewhere (DICE Control Panel, perhaps) that needs changing since I've upgraded?
I removed Sonar LE from the computer once I downloaded Studio, BTW.

Thank you!

There is a switch on the back of the ZED to select routing options. What does that do?
