Installing Dimension Pro

Should I uninstall Dimension before installing the Pro version. My system is stable at the moment so I don't want to mess things up.

I don't have Dimension. I have just now bought P5V2 and Dimension Pro - none is yet installed. Will it be in order to install P5V2 first and then the Dimension Pro ?

    One more question.

I have two machines - one Laptop and one desktop interconnected by LAN. Both are required for convenience in recording and processing. Can I install them in both the machines legally?

If I remeber correctly when you install P5 it gives you the option to install Dimension.

So, If I Know that I shall have to install Dimension Pro on P5 later, should I skip installing Dimension when the option appears ?

The technical result is the same, but if you got Dimension Pro, or are about to get it, you will save installation time by skipping Dimension installation when installing Project5. Project5 installer will give you an option to install Dimension or not.

Thanks Rene, for your kind clarification.

Delta 1010 LT Card is fixed in the desktop and the Laptop is an Athlon AMD 64 and both are interconnected. I need P5 and DPro in both. How can I do it ?

License allows one person to use Dimension Pro in one computer at the time. If you plan to use it in both simultaneously, you need to acquire another license.

Nothing about this in the Windows installation guide (page 9 of the manual). It says just insert the disk and let it rip.

I installed DimPro over Dim. All seemed well until I started to get errors about missing samples. Uninstalled and reinstalled and all seems fine now. BTW each install took over 45 minutes even with the second install being from disk rather than DVD.

    cheers
