Installing Sonar x1 to make it work right

I am installing and organizing cakewalk and I have a few questions My cakewalk installation went into a programdata file envelope when I look for this directory with the browser it doesn't even show up. It is below the x64 Program files and the program files32 directories. The programdata directory is the normal directory where Sonar x1 installs itself isn't it? What are the actual default installation directories for X1 and X2 are they different from the Sonar 7.0 8.5 line? I am confused and I destroyed my installation which while it worked I don't think it was completely accurate. So I decided to make it better and of course mad it worse. Q2 What is the difference between .cwp and .tpl and in terms of standard usage which DAW illustrates along the smoothest curve how one should set up their usage workflow? In other words should I create a song template with each of the sections intro, verse1, chorus, solo, and create alternate files in each one according to the Gendre of the music. Or do most people work at a song specific level and do we move the templates into each project directory or where should they be located together. As of now x1 is not finding any templates it is not showing pro channel and I have the expanded version. Are Daw's this hard to set up or am I making this harder than it needs to be? Thanks

No. 32-bit Sonar should install in c:\program files (x86) and 64-bit Sonar should install in c:\program files. Just let it select the proper folders when you install it.
