Installing SonarLE

Just got my Sonar LE disc with my G Track Mic from Samson.  Can't get it to install.  When I put the disc in the computer, it pops up asking language I want to use for install, I click on English, and then nothing happens.  I have tried going to MY COMPUTER, Drive D, and I get the same messages.  Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe you could try copying the files off the disk onto the the hard drive and install from there.

Have you tried restarting your computer?

If you are running XP, and let it go to sleep, the system can get pretty flaky. This is a common effect of that, and the disk not spinning up is a classic telltale.
If that's the case, power all the way down, wait a minute, and start the computer.

    Welcome to the forum.
The disk is a DVD. Is your drive DVD?

The fact that it did something rather than nothing, i.e. displayed the first dialog box, suggests that it's the correct type of disk player.

I suspect a faulty disk.  If possible try the disk in another computer.
