Installing X1, I already have 8.5.3 on PC, Which discs do I really need?

Installing X1, I already have 8.5.3 on PC, Which discs do I really need?

I just received my X1 Producer discs, and it says that if you have 8.5 Producer, no need to install 2nd or 3rd discs. What about the last disc(4), additional Content, No problem if I need to, just wondering if you guys could help me out. Very scared, please, and thank you! PS. Sorry wife got as a surprise, so have not been keeping up w/ X1, but do know X1a,X1b, and now X1c exist, any suggestions?

    X1c is a cumulative update, containing all previous fixes, so that's the only thing you need to download.

    Thank you, that's good news about X1c. As far as me installing from discs, do you know if I would need Disc 4, just don't want to load same material twice, thanks! Or are you saying just download X1c?

    I can't even remember what's on the 4th disc now. Isn't it stuff like demo projects and loops and stuff? In which case, no, it's not required to run the program.
