Instrumen Track in X1/X2?

Hey everyone!

Am a longtime user of Cubase and logic pro, but switched to sonar some weeks ago.
I have a question regarding instrument tracks. Lets say that i want to create 2 tracks, I'll put Halion 4 in one of them and Nexus on track nr 2. When I select nexus and want to play around it
Plays the sound of both tracks at the same time? Why? How can I change this?

Change the input echo.  Its the glowing button on each track. Deselect the one you don't want to play.

    Sanchezco,

Whichever MIDI tracks have the Input Echo button enabled will all receive MIDI input at same time.  Also, there is an option called "Always echo current MIDI track" in the SONAR MIDI Playback and Recording Preferences, and if you have that turned on the currently selected MIDI track will always behave as if Input Echo is enabled.  So, the problem is probably either that you have Input Echo manually enabled on both tracks, or you may have it enabled on only one track, but you also have the "Always echo" turned on with the other track selected.
