Instrument Definitions for Juno D?

Hello,

I'm looking for an Instrument Definitions file for the Rolan Juno D keyboard.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I tried doing it myself, but, I'm obviously not getting the whole picture.

I was only able to get 127 sounds for performance #1 working properly.

Not sure how to create bank changes...so SONAR can change to ANY instrument.

Cakewalk tech support is USELESS! Their answer to my request for help was to post this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Juno-d has its own yahoogroup! Search for it and become a member of this group, and you will find a instrument definition for Juno-D in the shared files.

I tried to recreate my own inst def, grouping the patches in the same way that on the synth (Piano, Keyboard, Guitar, Orch, etc), but I didn't manage.

My problem is that all instruments in e.g. the Piano group of the Juno-D do NOT belong to the same bank.
Does anyone know if it is possible (or not) to have patches from a synth's different banks under a single section in an patch list?

.Patch Names=

[Piano]=
0=Pf01:JUNO-D Grand
1=Pf02:Soft Grand
2=Pf03:Bright Grand
3=Pf04:Dance Piano
4=Pf05:EL.Grand
5=Pf06:Honky-tonk 3
6=Pf07:LA Piano
7=Pf08:GrandPNO/ABs
8=Pf09:GrandPNO&Pad

; some of the PfXX patches have a different bank!!

;blablablabla

; ----------------------------------------------------------------------=

.Instrument Definitions=

[Roland JUNO-D:Patch]=

Patch[11136]=JUNO-D User 1-128
Patch[11200]=Piano
Patch[11201]=Keyboard
Patch[11202]=Guitar

I dont really understand what the number after the keyword "Patch" means there... and do not really get the explanation from cakewalk's homepage.
Someone who wants to try to explain?

Thanks!

It's not Cakewalk Tech Supports' job to write .ins files.

There are ins files for your Juno-D here, http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/junod/,
You'll have to join, but that takes 2 minutes.
