Instrument interfaces disappear from MultiDock

Can someone tell me how to get the instrument interface graphics to remain viewable in the multidock?  Each time I open a song, the instrument interfaces have disappeared.  I'm running version Professional 2017.9.

Also is there a place where I can read the current updated capabilities for Sonar Pro?

Thank you!

i7, 16GB Ram, Roland Quad Capture, MOTU MIDI, Event 8 Monitors, Dual Screens, Yamaha Controller, Virtuoso, Proteus 2000, Roland XV3080, Presonus Eureka, Rode NTK, etc. etc.

How do you get it in the multidoc in the first place?

I see you have the Roland Quad Capture
(your sig says Quad Core - I don't think there ever was such a device)

I have the Octa Capture which probably works pretty similar.
    I'd be interested to try.

    Thank you J.P.,

I loaded my instruments into the multidock by right clicking on the interface and choosing "dock in multidock".
I ALSO held down the control key and dragged them into the multidock.

    Any recommendations?
p.s. You're right about the Quad Capture.

I didn't know that was possible. Very convenient, thanks for the tip!

What I'm finding is, if I manually save the song, even if I have nothing to save, the instrument remains docked. - Or the other way around. If I remove an instrument from the multidock, then close without saving, it will be in the multidock if I reopen the song.

I also found not all instruments have this feature. It has nothing to do with 32 or 64 bits, nor whether it is a Sonar or a 3rd party instrument. FM8 can be docked.

But never do the instruments disappear totally. However, if I disable floating, they seem to hide behind other windows. If the instrument window is floating (not in the dock), there is a pin in the top right-hand corner. Your issue may have something to do with this?
