Interesting Piece that Tascam DM-3200!

Hi Folks,

Here are some great things about the Tascam DM-3200 as well for the DM-4800. As some of you know, I bouight DM-3200 about 6 months ago and this piece works great and I have found out some things that I would like to share. Maybe some of the user here know about or maybe you don't know.

1. I have found that you can you any of the MCU controllers to run Sonar. The DM-3200 has different controller settings when you are in the Remote mode from Protools, Cubase, Logic, Sonar and Digital Performer. For example, Steinberg is currently the only setting that allows you to make adjustments like EQ, Fader, Panning and other basic functions. The other programs are more limited in its functionallity but works great too. I decided to try some of the other settings because I want to be able to control more from this board and so I tried the Steinberg one and it works within Sonar. Now I can adjust more tracks with using the mouse less. The only problem is, if you shut your computer down and the next day turn everything back the Remote section will not work. So, easy fix is, before you go in to Sonar, change the MCU setting on the DM-3200 back to Sonar Mode then it will work. Once you are in Sonar you can change the setting back to Steinberg.

This is the main thing I wanted to share with you all!
