Charles Dye and Tchad Blake have talked about using them.

Hanging out at the MiLaR forum are we? Dye uses Pro Tools on a Mac if I recall... and he uses the DUY tape plug-in, which is Mac only, so I can't try it and see. But if he were using SONAR with it's 64 bit DP engine, instead of Pro Tools and it's markedly inferior audio processing, his mixes wouldn't be "sterile" in the first place and he wouldn't feel the need.

Hi Jose7822

Not to worry. I was just stating an opinion that is all. It is neither better or worse then any other. I will not fight over it or disagree with anyone on this because it is a matter of taste not fact. Also you clearly understood my viewpoint, that is plenty for me. I do thank you for your mice post and concern though.

Best
John

John,

No problem, I also believe this is all subjective and discussing it wouldn't lead anywhere. It's like forcing people not to like purple just because I don't like it. We just have to learn when to use it and how to use it. Tape Saturation is just a diferent color we have available in our palette of plugins, that's all. Take care everyone!
