    Thanks for the link.

    I used my 6 channel Tascam DR-680 last Monday and really enjoyed it.

    I brought a few preamps and had wistfully thought that it would be really cool to have a self enclosed rack mount system.

    This form factor and feature set looks really cool.

    Well, I hope it works ok. Just bought myself one :)

    I don't normally jump on something that is just out, but this looks like a really good and easy way to record live bands.

    It arrived yesterday, feels good.

    Hope to find a suiteble drive before January 19!

    Test went all good, recorded 2 hours/16 channels at 24/48, not one hickup :)


    Just one minor thing, if you want to record to USB at 24/48 yoú will need a HDD.
