International Music Day

Today is the International Music Day, so I've recorded a famous Austrian folk song to celebrate it. Enjoy!

That was really fantastic! What brand of guitar?

And yes, what Bapu said...

Thanks, Robby. It's an Epiphone, with Shadow piezo system and custom made Trakhmann magnetic pickup through Trakhmann tube preamp.
FWIW, originally it's in german, see my reply to bapu above.

Ah!

I get it now haha!

I said on SC that I wasn't familiar with the song, but listening to it again, after watching the video, I recognise it.

Well played... Nice and bright tones... Liked it

Great sound and performance!

Thanks! Took me almost 4 hours to arrange the melody and complete the recording. I like it too.

Thanks! The idea was to record an easily recognizable melody to celebrate the International Music Day. Sounds like it did not succeed.

No, no! You did... I'm just not that educated... Once I played it again the original tune was instantly recognisable

Thanks! You wouldn't find the arrangement lovely if you'd start to play it.

Nice touch on the guitar there, no I did not recognise the tune either but then I do have a very valid excuse being a furry alien from far far far away, like.

That's perfectly understandable. The tune has no Solo or Hawks, only hooks and it's old, but not millennium old. So, maybe next time, when I'll have something more familiar?
