Buss compressor is one of my favs now. The more I use it the more I find I should just always have it on my master buss. I quite like the idea of how you use these types of compressors. The White Channel is great too, but I find I like using the classic EQs more often and the Black 76/White 2A more often than not to create my own channel strip of sorts. The British Channel gets a lot of use on vocals though.

I have T-Racks Grand and would consider getting more T-RackS Custom Shop - latest gear. But I find I cannot, as Custom Shop still does not support off-line purchases and installs. So, IK Multimedia is missing sales to people like me with Music Computers not connected to the internet.

I'll never understand why people won't connect their computers to the internet even if it's for just the time it takes to authorize software or get updates.

My DAW's have always been connected to the internet since 2007, and I've never had any virus's infect my PC. Since almost everything I have is downloadable (including games), it's very easy to get them working quickly. Of course, I'm very cautious on which sites I visit & where I download stuff from......and never ever go into any of those "risque" sites.

I don't visit questionable sites myself, but Norton expired here and I surfed lightly without protection till I could get network protection, and when I did, Norton 360 found 29 virii, trojans and backdoors. If ur gonna be online, wrap em.

+1 here my DAW is off the net, too - and will stay that way ... it's not just questionable sites that shouldn't be visited, it's also about all these auto-updates that change your system without asking you ... ok, you can turn that off, but then with the next planned manual update these things may reactivate themselves as most companies think now their software should be auto-updating ... isn't it much easier/cheaper to distribute another update silently than to do proper testing in the first place?

BTW, I still use the IK plugs I got a lot (those that are 64 bit, which excludes the SampleStuff) - yet, I won't forget the trouble this bloody custom shop has given me ... major PITN

The Custom Shop doe not "Change your system without asking you". The whole point of the Custom Shop is giving you control. Control to buy exactly what you want without having to buy a pre configured collection, getting it when needed (Late night mixes, stores closed) and to update all of your T-Racks gear at once when installing on a new system at once. Its not for everyone, but nothing is for everyone. Except music, we all like music. The tools we make are for people who want some of the best tools available at a great price.

Note that the Buy Now links are all to our web shop, not Custom Shop and you can buy them that way and use our offline authorization system and not have to open Custom Shop to purchase, etc at all. The other note, though, is that at this time you'd be able to use them inside the T-RackS shell and not individually on their own (though it is fairly lean to run that way, it could surely still be a concern for those tight on or at least more conscious of each bit of resource usage, understandably). Thank you.
