Ipswich Demo - Why Not?

It's been a month since the Ipswich update has been released with seemingly awesome update features such as Style Dials, MixStrip, better clip exporting, export presets, better track icon graphics support, bug fixes, and most importantly SYNTH RECORDING!

To me, the latter is HUGE!  Letting folks finally try to "live record" a VST synth could get more on board with Platinum, including severe wafflers like me!

So why no demo available yet for the Ipswich update?  I seem to be getting no response from the crowd or a Cakewalk representative.  Maybe there are too many bugs in the new version?  The synth recording doesn't work well enough as expected, or perhaps not at all?

Thanks!

Ipswich is a VERY solid version me.  That includes synth recording.

My guess is that creating a demo requires time/effort and the folks at Ye Olde Pastry Shoppe are busy doing other things.

Perhaps!  Turns out they've been to Jamaica and back!  So perhaps a Jamaican Plain demo.

Yeah I'm concerned myself as I am <still> developing control surface software for what seems to a real moving target now that we enjoy rolling updates. Demos with the code for each update as the updates are dropped not only would be welcome as nothing (much) I do has to do with saving but it would seem to make good business sense to show off the new hot stuff to would be switchers.

A new demo should be posted soon after JP is made available.

what i don't understand is that with the "demo mode" now built in, why the demo isn't automatically kept up to date with each release?

    just a sec

There are so many new ways to get creative with Sonar these days, who has time to analyze their strategy?  I've reached the point that I'm willing to give Cakewalk the benefit of the doubt with regard to what they are and aren't doing.
