Is Cakewalk still in tune with it's user base? A few worrying trends.

A few worrying trends:
- No more EZine :I think that is a mistake ( see the reactions in the sticky thread).
- The bakery : Not a great succes. Most people seem to prefer this forum.
- More problems with the latest updates.
- No news about MacOs Alpha release.
- Still reports of poor support.
- Less presence of Cakewalk on the forum?

I don't understand what is happening.

There are always ups and downs with anything. Right now CW seems poised to do something big. I don't know this but often in the past when it seems CW is holdup in its shop they have, in the past, been preparing something interesting.  Have a little patience and see if I'm right.

I hope John is right, but even if he is, Cakewalk needs to do a better job of communicating with us.

Cakewalk has a history of overpromising and underdelivering -- most often related to service and support.

    From April 2016:

I'm not just complaining and being negative. As I've said here before, I want Cakewalk to be a better company.

I really like the software, but have a low opinion of the organization.
