Wow. A touch sensitive instrument in a too small computer. I can play digital trumpet during study hall and no one will be able to hear me. Oh wait... even better, I can create remixes that will amaze my friends. Is this Microsoft taking music seriously? To the extent that I have any interest in what Microsoft does with digital audio (not music for god's sake which is just media content for the boys at Redmond) it is in making an easy to program low latency interface that people who do take computer music seriously can use to make it possible for those of us who also see music as more than a "consumer experience" to use grown up controllers and software to get results.
