Is SONAR X1 Advanced Workshop also free to Registered Users?

Cakewalk syas that the August release of SONAR X1c will be free to registered users.  As part of the "Summer of SONAR" promotion they are touting the release of "SONAR X1 Advanced Workshop with Craig Anderton" apparently free to new buyers.  But, is it also free to registered users?

Hey thats a great Question, I have the Digitech GNX4 Power User Guide By Craig Anderton and it is one of the best Items I have purchased or read pertaining to learning and understanding a device and its uses, SO I assume the SONAR X1 Advanced Workshop will be a must have for SONAR x1 users.
I will be purchasing it if it is not free for registered Users of X1.

Tell me more.... registered users should be included, we decided to supported and use X1 earlier so it would be an insult to registered users (IMO) to offer a better deal to new users. Business is business and bad business is bad business... however, for all I know CW will treat the loyal users as well or better than those who chose to wait.

Just my opinion, I could be wrong.... but you'll have to tell me where I am wrong because I don't think I am.

Scott, just tell me where to send the money and, btw, why don't you consider a week long class. Limit it as to size and charge whatever you think the market will bear... do it where it is convienient for you. Build it and they will come.

Someone needs to pick up the ball and do beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes. Attendees should have a project in mind, whether a cover or an original and the goal to complete it... especially for the beginner class. For the intermediate and advanced class attendees should have some basic tracks recorded. I'm telling you, there is a market here unless I am badly mistaken. I would like regional classes but i you did something like this I would fly in for the beginner, intermediate, and advanced. What a value that would be!!!

I am in line for the DVD! Just let me know.

Thanks, Julien! I really appreciate your support.

Live classes aren't really feasible from a making-money standpoint. It would take too much time and effort for not enough financial return. You would either have to have a large number of people in order to charge a reasonable amount or if the group was small, you would have to charge way too much to make it worthwhile.

The video is not free and is not part of SONAR X1c. It will be available for download for $39.99 very soon. We post many free videos to help users on our CakeTV channel. This video is totally different and unique but one of the best SONAR X1 videos tutorial I have seen. Stay tuned for more details.
