Is StudioWare Still A Thing?

I finally figured out how to patch my Eventide Eclipse into Sonar as an effects loop then I found an instrument definition file for the presets and got that working (BankSelMethod=1). Now it would be nice to be able to control some of the parameters from a widget inside X3. I remembered Sonar had a thing called StudioWare that you could use to control things that can be controlled by MIDI, my Eclipse is a thing that can be controlled by MIDI. When I looked around X3, it doesn't look like it has StudioWare anymore.
Am I missing something?
If StudioWare is gone, is there anything else I can use to control my gear inside Sonar without resorting to writing code?

The panels are an optional installation http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR%20X3&language=3&help=ExternalDevices.19.html. The Studioware editor was dropped in SONAR 3.

I haven't done so recently, but I believe support for using them is still operative.

But if you need to design one or edit its underlying parameters. I think that requires using an older version of Sonar to do the creation/editing.

I use Studioware all the time.

I need to use CPA9 to actually edit them.  The edited ones I use in Splat.  I need this to enter XG SYSEX info and specific controller information for a Yamaha XG SW1000XG.  I also use CAL in conjunction with Studioware.  I just have to avoid the specific CAL commands that I know crash Splat.

    Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram .
    PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)
    CPU: i5 4670.
    Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

    Internet always on.

Wow! CPA9! I'm amazed it was that long ago and no one has created an alternative. Maybe someone will create a vst door designing little aok such as these?

    Wow, thanks for your help!

Reset permissions on studioware folder (full rights for admin and system) this stopped the errors

Was opening panels but nothing was showing till i realised the panels were hidden beneath other windows.

Great to have this working again! might have to build an 'old system' so I can write more :)
